About this unofficial project
Pokemon Gen 3 EV Tracker is a free, noncommercial fan-made utility for recording effort values, experience, and training activity in Generation III Pokémon games.
Ownership and trademarks
Pokémon, Pokémon character names, game sprites, item names, locations, and related game content are the property of their respective rights holders. Pokemon Gen 3 EV Tracker does not claim ownership of that material or present it as freely licensed content.
The tracker name, interface, calculations, and original project code are presented independently and must not be interpreted as an official Pokémon product.
Sprite use
Small, original-resolution game sprites are displayed only to identify Pokémon while a user selects a species, opens a local save, or records an opponent. They are not offered as a standalone sprite collection or as replacements for the original games.
The sprites remain copyrighted by their respective owners. Their appearance here is intended for identification, reference, and informational use within this fan-made tool.
Game data and calculations
Pokémon names, Pokédex numbers, experience values, growth groups, EV yields, game mechanics, and location references are used as factual game information so the tracker can perform its calculations. The project does not reproduce strategy-guide articles or claim ownership of the underlying game rules.
Technical references
The project uses open-source web libraries under their respective licences. PokéAPI and its public sprite repository are useful technical and licensing references for Pokémon data projects; PokéAPI does not grant ownership of Pokémon intellectual property.
Save files and privacy
Local save files remain on the user's device. Users may optionally connect Google Drive, which lets the tracker read and write its own files in Google Drive's private application-data folder. The tracker requests only the drive.appdata permission and cannot browse unrelated Drive files.
While a file has unsaved changes, the tracker keeps a recovery copy in that browser's local storage. Saving or explicitly discarding the draft removes that recovery copy.
Google provides a short-lived access token directly to the browser. The tracker keeps that token only in memory for the current browser session and does not operate an application save database. Disconnecting or closing the page clears the connection from the tracker.
The optional feedback form does not ask for a name, email address, or account. Its topic and comment are sent through an email-delivery provider to the project feedback inbox and are not added to tracker save files.
Contact and removal requests
For attribution corrections, rights concerns, or a request to remove specific content, contact the project owner and identify the material in question.
